These terms cover your use of Cleanly ("the app"). By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
Cleanly measures your photo library, folders you choose and your address book, groups items that look removable, and deletes what you select. It runs on your device, without an account or a server.
The app never deletes anything on its own. It suggests candidates and you confirm every removal. Photos and videos go to Recently Deleted, where iOS keeps them for 30 days. Files removed from a folder you selected, and contacts removed from the Contacts tab, are deleted permanently and immediately. Review your selection before confirming, and keep a backup of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Duplicate and similar-shot detection is automatic and can be imprecise. Two photos judged identical may differ in ways that matter to you, and a frame judged blurred may be intentional. Treat every group as a suggestion, not a verdict, and check items before removing them.
The app is free to install and to scan, and Swipe sorts up to 50 photos a day for free. Removing photos, videos, files or contacts, and swiping without a daily limit, require Pro.
Pro is a weekly subscription that starts with a free trial. The length of the trial and the weekly price, in your local currency, are shown in the app before you subscribe; the trial offered can differ from person to person. Nothing is charged during the trial. When it ends, the subscription starts and your Apple Account is charged, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. After that it renews every week, and is charged again, until you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current week. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings, or from Settings in the app. Payment is charged to your Apple Account on confirmation.
Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will find every removable item, that its suggestions will suit you, or that it will run without interruption.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost photos, files or data, or for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. You are responsible for reviewing what you delete and for maintaining backups.
These terms may change. The current version is always published on this page with a date.
